| Established by the Law dated 26 November 2020, the “For Distinction in Battle” Medal of the Republic of Azerbaijan is awarded to the military personnel of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan for distinguishing themselves and showing bravery and heroism while performing combat duties and during life-threatening special operations, for demonstrating skillful, proactive and decisive actions that contribute to the successful completion of combat missions, as well as for professionally commanding the subordinate unit during the successful execution of combat tasks. |
