| The Zafar or Victory Order of the Republic of Azerbaijan has been established by the Law 204-VIQD, dated 26 November 2020. This order is awarded to commanders of military units or more senior ranks for high professionalism in the management of combat operations that culminated in the liberation of important or strategic territories, settlements, districts or cities from enemy occupation, while ensuring the territorial integrity and security of the Republic of Azerbaijan, or combat operations to restore the state borders of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as other persons for special services in ensuring territorial integrity. |
