| Established by the Law dated 26 November 2020, the “Participant of the Patriotic War” Medal of the Republic of Azerbaijan is awarded to the military personnel and civilian employees of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan for participating in the Patriotic War for the liberation of the liberated territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan and contributing to the successful completion of military operations, as well as to employees and civilian servants of the relevant executive authority (body) for demonstrating heroism on the frontline. |
