Bahruz Taghizade, a soldier of the Azerbaijan Army, voluntarily participated in the Patriotic War, that the Azerbaijani Armed Forces launched on September 27, 2020 to liberate the territories occupied by Armenia and restore the territorial integrity of the country.



He fought in the battles for the liberation of Jabrayil, Fuzuli, Hadrut and Shusha.



Bahruz Taghizade was martyred on November 8, 2020 while performing a combat mission in the direction of Shusha. He was laid to rest on November 16, 2020.

By the orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, he was posthumously awarded the medals "For the Motherland", "Brave Warrior" and "For the Liberation of Shusha".
