Rashid Abdullayev Abdulla was born on March 23, 2002 in Samukh district. In
2008-2019, he studied at the secondary school in Institut settlement in Samukh
district.

Rashid Abdullayev, a soldier of the Azerbaijan Army, fought in the battles for the
freedom of Shusha during the Patriotic War, which was launched by the
Azerbaijani Armed Forces on September 27, 2020, to liberate the territories
occupied by Armenia. Rashid Abdullayev was martyred on November 7 during
the battles of Shusha. He was buried in Institut settlement of Samukh district.
By the relevant decree the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the martyr was
posthumously awarded the medal “For the Motherland” for taking part in the
military operations for the restoration of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and
performing his duty honorably during the fulfillment of the tasks assigned to the
military unit.
