Jafarov Aykhan Jamalleddin was born on September 6, 1996 in Uchtepe village of Jalilabad district. He was conscripted into the military service in July, 2015. During his military service, he completed an intelligence course.
Aykhan also participated in the April battles of 2016. After completing the military service, he was placed in reserve.
When the situation became tense on the front on September 27, 2020, Aykhan wrote to the Ministry of Defense about his intention to participate in the battles. He was called into the military again on September 28. He fought in the Fuzuli region as part of the volunteer group of the Aghjabadi corps.
Participating in Fuzuli battles as a sniper, Aykhan Jafarov was martyred on October 15, 2020. Two days later he was laid to rest in Uchtapa village of Jalilabad region.
For his bravery, he was awarded "For the Motherland", "For the Liberation of Gubadli" and "For the Liberation of Jabrayil" medals.
