Kamaladdin Mammadzade Vugar oglu was born on September 14, 1999 in Baku. He went to the 1st grade at secondary school No. 249 in Baku. Having completed the 11th grade, Kamaladdin studied geodesy and cartography in the Transportation Faculty of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction.

Having studied at the university for 2 years, Kamaladdin dropped out of his studies to leave for military service on January 8, 2020 since he grew up with the love for the Motherland from childhood.

He fought in the battles from the first days of the Patriotic War, took part in the liberation of the villages of Jabrayil, Zangilan, Fuzuli, Gubadli, Lachin, Khojavand, the city of Shusha and many strategic heights, and inflicted heavy strikes to the enemy.

On November 9, around 5 o'clock in the morning, during the Shusha battles, he was shot in the neck by a sniper and was heroically martyred.
Ulkar Mammadzada, the martyr’s sister said that last time they contacted her brother was on November 1: “I said that you never leave my dreams. Do I show up in your dream? “Ulkar, I swear I can't sleep. Even I cannot eat or drink. It is as if what I am experiencing is a dream. One thing for sure that anything can happen. I may be wounded, or martyred...,” he said. “Please, don't say like that, think of me, my mother, and my father,” I said. He wanted to speak to my mother and when he talked to her, he asked: “What will you do if I become a martyr?” “Please, don’t say like that, son” she begged.

When he talked to my father, he said: “Three of my fellow soldiers were martyred, what sets me above them? I have to avenge them. Don't tell me anything else, or I won't call you.”

He did not call after that. He was martyred on November 9, and the news came on November 11.”
On November 12, he was laid to rest in the Alley of Martyrs in the Khalafli village cemetery in Saatli district.

By the orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev, Kamaladdin Mammadzade was posthumously awarded the medals “For the Motherland”, “Brave Warrior”, “For Bravery”, “For the Liberation of Fuzuli”, and “For the Liberation of Shusha”.
