In 2008, Khudush was called to active military service from the Ganja City Kepaz District Branch of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription. In May 2019, he started to serve as a long-term military serviceman.
On September 27, 2020, the command of the Azerbaijan Army launched a counter-offensive operation along the entire front to suppress the combat activity of the armed forces of Armenia and ensure the safety of the civilian population.
On October 2, 2020, he was martyred during the battles in the direction of Kalbajar district.
His body was found after 110 days and was laid to rest on January 20, 2021, in the Alley of Martyrs in Ganja.
He was married and had a 5-year-old daughter named Fatima and 2-year- an old son named Abdulkarim.
