Shahmuraz Humbatzade, a soldier of the Azerbaijan Army, fought in the battles in the direction of the city of Aghdara during the Patriotic War that started on September 27, 2020. He was martyred on October 23 during the battles for Agdara.



The martyr was laid to rest in Barda district.

By the orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, Shahmuraz Humbatzade was posthumously awarded the “For the Motherland” and “For the Liberation of Sugovushan” medals.
