Javid Garayev was born on September 5, 1984, in Karimbeyli village of Fuzuli district. Javid spent his childhood years in the frontline district and was raised with a patriotic spirit. He was distinguished by his attachment to the land and homeland from his teenage years.
In 1990, Javid went to the 1st grade at the secondary school named after Ekram Salimov in Karimbeyli village, and in 2001 graduated from the 11th grade of that school. He was called up for active military service in October 2002. He completed his service in January 2004.
In 2006, Garayev got married and became the father of two children - Sanan and Punhan. In 2007, he entered the Azerbaijan State Physical Education Academy and graduated in 2011.
After the April 2016 battles, he voluntarily applied and guarded the Motherland as an overtime servant. Distinguished for his discipline, Javid was promoted to the position of manga commander as a sergeant.
Javid and his manga joined the battle on the front lines during counterattacks during the Patriotic War. Javid, who stood out for his fearlessness in the battles for Fuzuli, Jabrayil, and Khojavand, fought bravely for the liberation of our lands, fighting like a real hero. He was active in the liberation of many strategic heights and neutralized a large number of enemy manpower and equipment together with his manga. On October 26, during intense fighting, Javid was martyred.
After his death, according to the order of Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, he was awarded the "For the liberation of Fuzuli", "For the liberation of Khojavend", and "For the fatherland" medals.
